In this episode of the Transformative Leader Podcast, I’m happy to bring you a conversation with Jonathan Littman and Susanna Camp, about the ten different archetypes of the entrepreneur, what each of them brings to the table, and what they each need to watch out for to ensure their success. Susanna and Jonathan share their findings based on the extensive work they have done with successful entrepreneurs around the world, and also discuss many of the concepts from their books, such as the different phases of entrepreneurship.

Jonathan Littman is the author of ten books. His bestselling books with IDEO, The Art of Innovation and The Ten Faces of Innovation, have sold 750,000 copies worldwide and been published in 20 languages. He is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco,  where he teaches “Innovation, Creativity, and Applied Design.”

Susanna Camp is an editor and journalist specializing in emerging technology and business trends. She is the Editor-in-Chief of SmartUp.life, and a consultant for CEOs and others wanting to build their social media footprint. Susanna was an early team leader at Wired magazine, where she led the creation of one of the first online communities.

Their newest book is The Entrepreneur's Faces: How Makers, Visionaries and Outsiders Succeed, in which they profile ten authentic entrepreneurs from around the world—each characterized by an emblematic type, people who master challenges with a characteristic approach, and echo the models and behaviors of renowned innovators.

Entrepreneurs in Residence at Schoolab, an international incubator and consultancy, Jonathan and Susanna are building innovation and entrepreneurship programs for executives, startups and students worldwide. Their suite of workshops includes a custom Find Your Inner Entrepreneur lab based on The Entrepreneur’s Faces.
