About this Episode:

In this episode of the Transformative Leader Podcast, I’m happy to bring you a conversation with sales training consultant and communication expert, Bill Kurzeja, about how to effectively communicate with confidence and “sell“ both ourselves and our ideas so that people want to “buy“ into them. Bill is the owner and founder of Professional Success South, a business consulting firm that specializes in using its expertise in business development training and consulting to strengthen businesses’ core values and culture.

Bill’s career began in the United States Army where he learned discipline and the importance of strict attention to detail. Over the next 8 years he made his way up the ranks to sergeant where he learned not only leadership, but the importance of clear, effective communication in training. This made his next move as he transitioned out of the military in 2001 obvious; he would enter the retail automotive industry!

Beginning as a salesperson, he quickly rose through the ranks through finance, into sales manager, and finally into the GSM and GM positions. Bill now follows his passion in training and coaching, specializing in teaching speakers and salespeople how to communicate with confidence and sell themselves more effectively. In particular, he loves speaking with young people in order to teach them how to make an impact.

Some topics discussed in this episode include:

  • How Bill discovered his passion for communication, especially as it related to selling oneself and one’s ideas within workplace culture.

  • What it takes for someone to be confident, and whether confidence can be taught.

  • Why it is so important to communicate effectively and with confidence, no matter who you are.

  • The fundamental building blocks of learning to be confident and communicate with confidence, and some exercises to develop these skills.

  • What confidence has to do with being and showing up as Transformative Leader

  • And more…

Bill Kurzeja is a veteran, and founder of Professional Success South. Bill has, over 20 years, has helped several small to large-scale businesses achieve their potential with the help of his unwavering dedication and his attention-to-detail approach. After he transitioned from the military, where he got his training in discipline, and clear and effective communication from, he decided to enter the automotive retail industry where he further advanced his career in sales. With a solid background understanding of the automotive retail industry, Bill continues to serve his clients within the internet sales marketing and retail sales of automotive service and parts realm attentively. He is always working to bring knowledge to as many people as possible whether through his clients, on social media, or through his weekly podcast, Get Focused with Bill K and Gina Faye.
