About this Episode:

In this episode of the Transformative Leader Podcast, I’m happy to bring you a conversation with empowerment coach and business mentor, Alexandria Maria, about what it takes to get back in touch with what's important to you and pursue a life and career that are in alignment with who you are, and the specific opportunities that the global pandemic has created for us to do just that. In this conversation, Alexandria and I discuss her journey of achieving success only to find out that she wasn't quite fulfilled and ultimately making significant changes in her life and career to go beyond a drab life that she was tolerating to living a life she loves, personally and professionally, and how others can do the same.

Alexandria is an Empowerment Coach and Business Mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs. Her mission is to help women make their dream life a reality. She aims to help women move from feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and lost to feeling aligned, motivated, and driven by a clear vision.

Having always followed the “rules of life”, Alexandria was thriving on the outside but on the inside, she was fighting a battle with anxiety which ultimately resulted in a breakdown. Her breakdown became her breakthrough, as she realized that her depression was not an illness but a symptom - a sign of how unhappy she was with the life she had created. She ripped up the rule book, left her corporate job and decided to create her own path. One that would inspire and empower other women to do the same.

Alexandria is also previously the founder of the health food business CHAM (stocked in Selfridges, Ocado, Whole Foods and Holland & Barrett). Having experienced the highs and lows of entrepreneurship first-hand, I now help others reconnect with their true desires and make the life of their dreams a reality.

Alexandria has appeared on the BBC World Service, and has run workshops for clients such as Ernst & Young, Crabtree & Evelyn, Nomade Tulum and Mortimer House and appeared on podcasts and roundtables such as Creative Impact’s Roundtable on Self Care.
