Meet your Instructor

Amir Ghannad, Co-Founder and President of The Ghannad Group, is a leadership development specialist with over three decades of hands-on experience in leadership and organizational development, and author of The Transformative Leader.

Amir’s corporate career began at Procter & Gamble, where he held a variety of manufacturing leadership positions in the US, Southeast Asia, and Europe. He also served as Plant Director at Sunny Delight Beverages Company, where he led the Atlanta plant operations and the company’s Workplace Excellence efforts, before taking on leading the Global High-Performance Organization initiative at Campbell Soup Company.

What is the difference between Transformative Leadership Development and traditional leadership training?

Transformative Leadership development goes beyond giving you more tools or equipping you with more skills. It is designed to have you see something you couldn’t see before that is in your way and showing up as the best version of yourself.

Transformative Leadership development is also done in the context of creating something extraordinary. It is a practical way of connecting what you are getting from the program and how you can apply it immediately to your real-life priorities rather than learning something and hoping to use it someday.

What are the indicators that our company needs this type of training?

Suppose you sense that people on the front lines or in the middle of the organization are waiting to be told what to do or are hesitant to own their power to make change happen. In that case, this program is the answer, as the participants go in pointing to external factors that keep them from being empowered and come out owning that responsibility and being empowered by it.

How much time does it take for one individual to complete the course?

Watching the videos and completing the exercises takes approximately 4 hours. The real value of the course comes from the behaviors it causes you to embed into your day-to-day practices. We had participants go through the program multiple times over time, and they have reported that they got something new out of it every time relevant to the specific part of the journey they were on.

How is a group session structured?

The course is designed to either be taken by individuals on their own or as a facilitated process. Suppose you are interested in giving your broader team exposure to the content. In that case, we are happy to work with you to qualify internal facilitators at your company and provide them with the material and guidance needed to lead team sessions.

In that case, we have various options available, including our membership site that gives you access to Amir's other teachings and the opportunity to interact with other kindred spirits and Amir on the platform and participate in group coaching sessions. We also offer 1-1 coaching sessions with Amir, which can be discussed as needed.

What levels of the organization is this program designed for?

Simply put, literally everyone, no matter what their background or level of responsibility, will see a benefit in this program. We know this from years of experience with various levels of organizations ranging from front-line employees up to the C-Suite. The reason for this is that the concepts we teach in this course are foundational life lessons. Each participant takes away what is useful relative to how the ideas apply in their specific situation. That is why we have successful programs with multiple layers of the organization and as many as seven layers. Everyone got what they needed to get out of the same conversation.
