In this episode of the Transformative Leader Podcast, I’m happy to bring you a conversation with speaker, author, and executive coach, Michelle Barry Franco, about how leaders can effectively expand their influence by sharing their message and story through transformational speaking. At the heart of her mission as a speaker and thought leader is Michelle’s fundamental belief that there is no more powerful way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people at once than through authentic powerful speaking. And I must say, I couldn’t agree more!
From my own personal experience, I can confidently say that speaking at events and conferences is the single most important activity I have engaged in both in terms of expanding my influence and impact as a leader, as well as generating business opportunities for The Ghannad Group. Although this isn’t a topic that I frequently cover, I cannot overstate the importance of outreach and spreading one’s message as a fundamental part of what it means to be a Transformative Leader, especially as it relates to servant leadership and going beyond personal success to significance and legacy. I’m defiintely a big fan of Michelle’s work, her book, and her mission, so be sure to check her website out after (or during) the episode.
So, this was a great episode and conversation about a topic that is relevant and somewhat neglected, especially when it comes to more seasoned Transformative Leaders looking for a way to expand their influence.
