The Transformative Leader Blog - A Year in Review
In lieu of my regular blog post this week, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the past year, that is, my first year of blogging. I have to tell you, when I first started, I wasn't sure that I'd make it to three months, let alone one whole year. This blog has given me a reason to be disciplined in collecting my thoughts and sharing my experiences on a regular basis, but more importantly, it has provided me with an avenue through which to connect to kindred spirits and engage in enriching dialogue that I have very much appreciated and learned from.
So, before I get into the rest of this post, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to those of you who regularly follow my posts and “like” and “share” them and add your own contributions via comments or feedback. Your feedback makes a world of difference for me, as I am constantly making decisions on what content would add the most value to the communities I have the privilege to be a part of. I’d also like to give a shout-out to those of you in the “silent majority” (I hope!) who secretly read my posts and occasionally let me know you’re there, even if you don’t ever really “like” or comment; your support and readership is no less valuable and no less appreciated. And to those of you who have dutifully completed the much longer posts I have been putting out as of late, I offer my undying gratitude for your dedication in addition to my apologies for demanding so much of your time!
I sincerely hope that the material I have shared during this past year has made a difference in your life and work, and I want to declare my commitment to continuing this weekly practice for as long as it adds value for a single reader out there.
So, in celebration of one whole year of “Transformative Blogging,” here's a look back at my Top Ten posts. I look forward to sharing many more blog posts with you over the years and, once again, I greatly appreciate your readership.

How to Motivate your Team When you Don't Feel Motivated yourself
Before I sign off for this week, you may have gotten an email or seen on social media that my interview with HR Studio Podcast went live earlier this week. If you haven't had a chance to listen or download the podcast, be sure to check it out (I have also included it in this post, below)! It is about 30 minutes long, and I believe you will find it relevant to a variety of leadership challenges you might be facing right now. I talk very briefly about my book, The Transformative Leader, culture transformation, and how I overcame the biggest challenge in my career (and how you can too). Let me know what you think of the podcast; my team and I are playing around with the idea of launching our own podcast and I'd love to know what you'd like to hear more about in the future.
I would also appreciate if you would take a moment to comment or send me a message on any challenges or topics you would like me to address as I continue to discuss the ins-and-outs of Transformative Leadership every week in the upcoming year.
As always, have a great week! May you Boldly Declare, Courageously Pursue, and Abundantly Achieve the Extraordinary! As always, I would love to hear about your victories and/or challenges. Please leave your comments below or send me an email at amir@theghannadgroup.com.
