About this Episode:
In this surprise solo episode, I discuss a priority that you ought to be acting on, no matter what industry you are in or what specific business challenges you are facing: empathizing and connecting with your team members. The value of empathy and connecting with others is timeless and universal, but so much more important in troubling and challenging times, so I go over a couple of simple practices for practicing empathy and the one thing you’d want to avoid when engaged in an emotionally charged conversation.
We’re releasing this episode outside of our regular schedule partly to announce that, due to the overwhelming amount of guest interest in the show, and because we want to provide our listeners with their valuable perspective and insight in a timely manner, we will be moving to two episodes per week from now on. Episodes will now post every Monday and Thursday, and while they will still mainly be in the format of interviews with guests, I may sprinkle in a few solo episodes here and there as well. So, be sure to check your podcast feeds twice a week going forward so you’ll be sure never to miss an episode!
